Happy Pi Day everyone. 3.14.  SXSW Interactive is over as of today and looking back I will say that it was a successful event.  Last year when I attended I was very determined to go to everything I had planned to and took notes and photographed everything.  This year I did have a schedule but I was a little more relaxed on what I would actually attend and the notes I did take.  This year the panels did focus on a lot of topics that I have only tapped into with new projects that I have begun.  The panels have made me think of one of my projects in a more business sense.  Attending the interactive events just makes me realize more that the work I do now is not my passion, but it does pay the bills, but it also teases me into thinking that I should actually try.  I salute the brave individuals that are able to work in the industry they want, and do the job that they are passionate about.  One thing that was said in several panels was that starting out they had to have the day job too.  I figure I have about 13 more years before I would be able to take the plunge of my own business due to circumstances outside of my control.  But that does give me 13 years to try and get something started.  Now with SXSW almost behind me I can go back through my notes and reorganize my thoughts and possibilities
