The Wedding PresentTonight is the night. I’ve only been waiting to see them again since their last tour back in 1995 or 96. 10 years is a long time to wait to see your favorite band. I’m armed with my camera so I will have pictures. I’ve got my ticket to gurantee my entry. I’m ready.

Rumors are that there will be a party this weekend…. Contact me for details.

Anyone else counting down to SXSW? I need to start making my schedules. If you’re in, let’s hook up and go to some panels together. Interactive, Film, Music, I’m down for whatever.

The Dark

The DarkThis was one of the greatest movies I think I have ever seen. Or one of the worst. Who’s in it you ask? Paris Hilton’s mom before she met Mr. Hilton. I think I recognized the other guy from Miami Vice speaking quite rudely to the police officers. Special effects were simply amazing. The soundtrack tops that of John Williams greatest scores. Thank you Alamo Draft House for free Weird Wednesdays.

web hosting needs just for you

I am now reselling web hosting needs to my friends and clients that I do websites for.  Pricing will be very reasonable and negotiable as well as space and transfer requirements.  So get off your rear and code that site and I’ll host it for you.  If you need some web design help, I can help out with that as well.

Snakes on a Plane!

ANNOUNCEMENT:  The website for the new Samuel L. Jackson movie, Snakes on a Plane, is up!  Plot Outline: On board a flight over the Pacific Ocean, an assassin, bent on killing a passenger who’s a witness in protective custody, let loose a crate full of deadly snakes.

What a great, original, and straight to the point title.  This will surely be a blockbuster hit for 2006.  It sounds so exciting and suspensful.  Who knows what will happen when those snakes get loose….on a PLANE!!!!

This reminds me of the greatness of the Badger song.

Do you want to touch my monkey?

Curious GeorgeThat’s right, Curious George comes out today.  I’ve got the boy this weekend and I  think seeing this is on the agenda for a cold Saturday afternoon.

Seeing the Globetrotters was awesome, even if they did win.

Ol Dirty Bastard.
Also scored the new Mastodon, Call of the Mastodon which is a collection of their old recordings, which usually I really don’t get into from other bands but this is good.  Raw metal.  Let go start a fight!

I should get some good work done on the low rider this weekend.  I will try to post before, progress and after pictures.

I saw them on Scooby Doo!

Harlem GlobetrottersIt has been quite a long weekend. Mom’s garage sell went well and she was able to get rid of pretty much everything and I was able to score my old elementary school and jr high school yearbooks. I even found my killer brass “CHAD” belt buckle that my grandparents gave me when I was 7. Oh yess I will be wearing it.

I was able to hit the Allen public cement skatepark for about 5 hours and recieved a nice little sun burn and general muscle soreness all over. No bails but some great carving. I finally found some good lines.

It helps to know people. I scored some tickets to go see the Harlem Globetrotters this Thursday. It’s bee about 26 or 27 years since I’ve seen them. I think little Cobes will enjoy it.

Galaga Days

Galaga DaysEver have one of those days when you plan your day to do certain things and expect your day to go that way? And little by little things get thrown into the mix that keep delaying most of what you set out to do?

Kinda like when you just cruising in your space craft just patroling the void and making your routine stops and then a few bug aliens come out of know where and you’re like ‘that’s cool, few bug aliens, no problem’ then before you know it, 34 levels later, there are swarms of bug aliens from who knows where attacking you from all angles and no mercy.

It’s been one of those days and I like to call those Galaga Days.

Out with the old in with the new

Work in progressIt was time and we all knew it. That old style was starting to drive me nuts. Tweaks and twiks will be happening so stay tuned. Thanks to mr. designops for the Word Press seed that was planted in my processor.

As for the old entries. I’m tempted to just say goodbye to them forever and start all over. I don’t think we need to revisit any of those old times. Let me know what you think.

Is it spring time yet?

So I think it’s getting about that time to do an entire site redesign. I’ll just do it in my spare time…..HAHAHAHA spare time. That’s funny right?
Happy Feb 1. 27 days until The Wedding Present show. I’m headed up to Dallas this weekend for my mom’s garage sale. I’ll be running security. So I’m looking to go out Sat night and hopefully I’ll have time to hit the Allen skatepark on Sunday.
SXSW is just next month. Be sure to check out the new interactive event ScreenBurnBetaFest.
